A Lifetime Opportunity

Dec 22, 2022

Dear Devotees,

The new building of Maa Durga temple is set to be completed in early 2023. With the blessings of Maa Durga, we aim to begin worship in the new Temple in March 2023. Thank you very much for your overwhelming support in this journey. Now, we would like to share a once-a-lifetime opportunity with you. You can contribute towards the cost of the deities’ establishment in the new temple. Murti Sthapna Mahotsavam will take place before we start the operations in the new temple. All the donors and community members will be invited to establish the deities. This is an excellent opportunity to leave a legacy for generations. Please support your temple.

Multiple families can join in donating to one deity.

For more info, please email at contact@maadurgatemple.org.

About Us

Maa Durga Temple of Westchester is a place where we seek guidance and peace and become closer to God. Our individual contribution to Maa Durga Temple is the personal satisfaction of watching it become a center for individual growth. Hindu Community of Westchester and beyond together is running this temple with the blessings of Maa Durga!

The Temple host regular poojas, festivals, events and meetings. Our goal is to have Durga Temple to own a permanent place of worship in Westchester County as soon as possible. This is going to be a community temple, operated and managed completely by the Hindu community. We will welcome any community member to come forward to join us in this endeavor.

“Extremely comforting”

I have been visiting Durga Temple of Westchester for years and my daughter Mishti has grown performing here at cultural festivals. Now, we are so excited about the new temple building coming up at Saw Mill Rd . Huge congratulations to all trustees and community members who are tirelessly working to get the temple built up at speed! Those who have not seen the process of the temple go and see it!

“Beautiful and peaceful”

This is a very beautiful Hindu Temple in Sleepy Hollow. This is a run by close group of dedicated and selfless people who are always ready to help. There is food prepared by the the temple staff on special holidays. The members of the temple provide assistance with many different services. This temple is like a family, we are invited from Queens and we love to go there. The staff is also building a dedicated temple & fundraising is ongoing. Please consider donating when you visit.
