About Me:
I am a creative and passionate 9-year-old who loves to share stories and ideas with the world. As the founder and editor of a monthly community newsletter, Arya Parivaar, I enjoy writing and designing to keep my Indian Hindu community together and united. The newsletter is also a way to bring back the forgotten Indian personalities who sacrificed their lives for the independence and good of India to the Indian families living in the US. Through entertaining fun and puzzles, I hope to spread awareness of our rich culture and tradition.
My Parents:
My parents started taking me to Arya Samaj when I was three months old. I have been attending the Vedic Sanskriti school and Rishikulam from age 2, participating in Sandhya and Havan. At home, we do a family circle time where we recite Sandhya and bhajans daily. I would like to thank my parents, Nitin Gupta, Geeta Gupta for instilling values of Satya Sanatan Vedic Dharma and my older sister, Prerna for her love, support and guidance. I am grateful to the Indian community for the love and encouragement.
Achievements:
– Founder and Editor of Arya Parivaar, a monthly publication for Indian Community.
Successfully published 3 issues, covering topics of Satya Sanatan Vedic Dharma, Indian freedom fighters, leaders & revolutionaries, festivals, fun facts, and puzzles.
Recognized by the community for encouraging reading and creativity among kids about Indian culture.
Interests:
When I’m not working on my newsletter, I love reading books, exploring new places, and learning fun facts about the world. I’m learning Kuchipudi classical dance and Indian classical singing, and I like to listen to Indian music. I adore improv, STEM, theater, and the performing arts. I’m passionate about storytelling and continue to write and share as I learn more with my writing.
